the ‘bang, see you space cowboy’ part gets me every time

Toonami was so amazing. Toonami brought me Dragonball Z. <3 and everything else I loved.

Toonami was pretty much my childhood. Gundam, Sailor Moon, DBZ, Pokemon. I believe all of those were on there.

Tenchi and Yu Yu Hakushoooo

We had television during the golden years of Toonami, and I looked forward to it every day.

Everyone forgets reboot.

I’ve probably listened to this a couple hundred times today.

Double clicking the scroll up arrow that shows up on tumblr as you scroll down makes you go plaid.

Crazy addicted to this song right now.

Tracking my mouse.

I’ve always been a statistics hound, so yesterday I downloaded IOGraphica and gave it a spin while at work. I ran it for a little over 6 hours (would have been 8 given I didn’t forget I planned to do this <2 into work).

I ran it on the two computers I’m currently using at work, a macbook pro, and a windows laptop. Windows laptop had an external monitor connected to it.

The macbook serves as my primary computer while the windows laptop serves as a machine to run various programs such as IM, uTorrent, and other things that I don’t care to have in the way while I’m working, though occasionally during certain events I use it actively.

So here are my results: (open them in a new window for a better look)

Windows:

Windows 7 Laptop

As can be seen, there are major differences in the two.

To be clear: The black dots indicate idle. The bigger the dot, the longer my mouse was idle. This is very evident in on the second computer as we have some massive idle spots. The lines are mouse movement.

The second picture is much larger then the first because of the monitor connected to the laptop. The line in the middle of the image indicates the right side of the laptop’s screen, so everything to the left of that is the laptop screen. Unfortunately the program wasn’t able to properly track the external monitor movement and I have no idea how the lines on the right side of the image were created. However you can see the mouse move onto it from one point which is strange. For clarity, the external monitor is set to be on the right side of the laptop, not the right. This may or may not have had something to do with the issues it had tracking the mouse on that screen, that or IOGraphica just doesn’t support multiple monitors.

In the first picture, it’s clear to me how much I use my browser. I can see from the top rightish area where I’m often moving my mouse around to select tabs. I’d say though, 90% of my work day is in my browser, so this comes as no surprise. I can’t say anything else is clear as my mouse is all over the place everywhere else with brief mouse idle dots all over the place as well. I can say I know this is due to either going AFK or going into terminal where I do not need my cursor.

Overall it was just interesting to see what my movement looked like over a days work, I came out satisfied.

Does anyone else see a problem with this?

whatpulse irssi

Being a big fan of WhatPulse I’ve made a Irssi script to show off my snazzy stats with.

Example:

[17:53:49] < Sindacious> WhatPulse: [User: Sindacious] [TKC / TMC / Rank: 8669943 / 1298981 / 11689] [AvKPS / AvCPS: 0.1 / 0.02] [DJ: 2008-01-26] [LP: 2010-10-07 19:04:13] [Country: United States] [Team: IRC]

I’ve thrown it up at http://sindacio.us/irssi/whatpulse.txt

automeme irssi

For fun I made an Irssi script that makes use of the automeme.net API. Personally I’ve been using rupa’s automeme bash script, though I made an Irssi alternative for a friend that uses Irssi+cgywin.

Example:

[04:06:18] <~newton> I MOONWALK, THEREFORE I SUCK.
[04:06:19] <~newton> IS IT CAN BE ESKIMOS TIEM NAO PLEES?
[04:06:20] <~newton> BECOME AN HACKERS ON STEROIDS

You can grab it from http://sindacio.us/irssi/automeme.txt.

I’ll also note this is the first Irssi/Perl script I’ve ever made.
